January 2019 Phaser Code Bundle
Happy New Year Phaser backers!
Here we are with another set of exclusive Phaser code examples. Attached to this post you'll find a zip file. Grab it, unzip it and merge it with the December 2018 bundle to add a brand new folder full of content. There is a complete project runner, as before, so you can either just open up the 'index.html' into a browser, or use 'npm run start' to launch a local web server and do the same.
This month we've another 10 examples. It includes code for pointer following, throwing objects around, animated tilesprites and a nifty dynamic 'shake' tween effect. As usual, all code is written in ES6, so modern browsers only please! It's using the latest cutting-edge master build of Phaser (also included).
Thank you for your suggestions last time re: putting all of these into a git repo. The reason I don't want to just upload these to a web site is that it'd be a real pain for you to get the assets and source that way. As the examples grow over time the zip will get increasingly bigger, so I'll try and make sure we've got a git repo sorted by the time the February pack drops. Although, I'm not sure it matters too much having a zip file for now (it will once the assets start increasing though!)
If you've any comments, or suggestions for future examples, please throw them below.
Happy coding and a Happy New Year!
