Phaser 3.24.0 Released
This is just a quick update to let you all know that Phaser 3.24 was released today.
As you'd expect, it's available right now from GitHub, npm, and various CDNs.
This release is primarily a maintenance release, with the focus mostly on bug fixes and updates. Even so, there are over 70 updates in this version alone, covering areas such as improvements to the Arcade Physics system, new Tween events, the ability to chain multiple animations, and some important fixes (especially if you try to import JSON into the Loader)
If you're currently using 3.23 then I'd urge you to upgrade. It should be a painless experience. The TypeScript defs, docs, and Labs are all updated for 3.24 now as well
As usual, I'd like to send my thanks to the Phaser community for their help in both reporting issues and submitting pull requests to fix them.
I'm now going to carry on with Phaser 4 development but I will keep my eye on any important issues that may arise as a result of 3.24. I wouldn't hope there are many, as there are no API breaking changes in this version.
I also plan on doing a 3.25 release with a brand new version of the Spine runtime. It takes quite some time to update their runtimes, so I didn't want to delay 3.24 just for this reason.
Catch me on Discord every day if you find something glaring in 3.24. Aside from this, have a good and productive week everyone. I'll be back soon with a new Phaser 4 Dev Report.
