Kontio Adventures was created by a group of 5 students at the University of Applied Sciences in Finland. As part of their course they had to simulate running a small company and they chose a game development studio.
The fruits of their project is this charming puzzle platformer. You take on the role of the bear Kontio who must leap and climb its way across the various levels.
There are the usual obstacles to avoid, like bear traps, spikes and baddies. But there are also more physics based mini puzzles to solve. These require you to pick-up certain items, such as an axe to chop down a tree, creating a bridge to the next part.
The graphics have a cute painterly look to them, the music is cheerful and game play is vibrant and engaging. At the moment the game is Chrome only, but hopefully this will resolved soon.
