Back in 2007 Preloaded created a Flash game for the Science Museum in London, to support their most popular gallery; Launchpad. The original game was playable both on their web site, and in the gallery itself. To this day it remains one of the most visited games on their site, and scooped up masses of awards in the day.

Fast forward to 2016, and Preloaded and the Science Museum have rebuilt the classic game from scratch in HTML5. In the original, the concept was all about 'design, test, and iterate', placing down various blocks, to try and launch the ball to the goal. Each block had different scientific properties, and it was the clever combination of these, combined with a level sharing mechanic, that lead to its overwhelming popularity.

This new version simplifies the user-experience, future-proofs its portability, and opens it up to play on mobile browsers as well. Congratulations to those involved at Preloaded who worked on this, especially developer Brett Jephson, who did a sterling job re-creating an absolute classic.
