Created by Benji Kay for the A Game By Its Cover game jam, where the aim is to turn the fictional cartridge art of another of the My Famicase Exhibition into the real thing.
The game plays out like a NES classic. Run and jump and try to solve each level. You can wall-jump and vault off platforms and all you need to do is reach the chain hanging from the top of each level, so you can climb to the next.
Of course, it's not quite that simple. For a start, there are Z's which need to be either destroyed or avoided. There's water, which you sink into and drown, if you're not careful. Plus of course drops off the screen. One hint I will give is that you can jump off the sides of the screen to appear on the other, which is key to solving early levels.
The graphics are lovely and real care has been taken in placing the tiles and scenery for each level. The intro sequence, music and overall presentation is great, especially for a game jam entry, and it's just good fun getting your little dreamer back in front of the TV again :)
