Set against a Game Boy palette and fitting sound track this charming game is a joy to play. Through its sharp dialogue and splashes of humor, I get the feeling of a much bigger world and adventure unfolding. I will be definitely spending more time with this game.
The creator of Pickem's Tiny Adventure, Mr. BOOMplop, tells us a bit about their game: "You play as Pickem, the greatest warrior in the forest kingdom. After being summoned by the king to be honored for your deeds, things go awry and you must embark on a quest to save the kingdom. You will traverse the land, trusty sword in hand as you meet many interesting characters, solve puzzled and fight your way to the end."
