The Paris Olympics are upon us, and it's easy to get caught up in the excitement, whether you're a die-hard sports fan or not.

Birdie Baller

The Olympic Games were brought closer to us gamers thanks to Google and their latest playful creation. In their Paris 2024 Search Playground, you are challenged to find references to various sports, monuments, and French icons. And hidden amongst them (and we mean really hidden), you'll find arcade machines that contain mini games created with Phaser! Just find a (working) arcade machine and click on it.

The games are excellent examples of small web games, featuring great pixel art (I love the little athletic headband in Birdie Baller) and simple yet engaging gameplay mechanics.

Thank you to the team at Google for making the web more fun. You can rest assured that you have the team at Phaser Studio glued to our screens, looking for more hidden arcade games.

We hope our readers enjoy the challenge of finding these as much as we did. Let us know how many you could find!
