Emanuele Feronato has set himself an ambitious task: To create 101 games as a solo developer. There are some rules around the games. Such as: all games must be actual playable games, not just prototypes. AI is not allowed to be used to create short-cuts and, most importantly for Phaser developers: the source code and project files for each game must be made available.

With these rules in place, Bolaz is game number two and is a take on the famous "Ballz" game originally built by Ketchapp.

Emanuele added double and quadruple-sized blocks to make the game more interesting. To play, simply drag to aim and release to shoot. Each block has a number on it. This indicates how many times you need to hit it with a ball before it will be destroyed. The task is to not let the blocks reach the bottom of the screen. You can collect extra balls to destroy even more blocks as you. It's casually addictive and created in Phaser 3.86 with the source available for all.
